Yes Michael, if the people you are sending the list to use Outlook, then you can send them a copy of your distribution list.

A distribution list is a group of contacts assigned to one list that you name, to eliminate the constant need to add the same 5, 10 or even 30 people to an email. It is a great time saver.

How full is your email, or rather your Outlook profile – known to some people as the – pst file? Did you know that if your Outlook profile is too big it may cause the following issues:

* Slow performance of your Outlook software

* Creaes a single point of failure – this means that if there is any corruption everything is stored in one location

* Makes using the find feature sluggish

Outllook 2003 – is meant to hold unlimited information theoretically, but you really should try to keep the profile size down to eliminate the issues mentioned above.

If you use Outlook to manage your contacts you may have found that your list may have some duplicates. What many users have asked me, especially most recently, is how to remove the duplicate contacts?

First, you should know there is not a quick wizard to accomplish this task like there is in Excel 2007. I have Outlook 2007 and this is not a feature that is presently available. There are third-party add-ons that do offer this feature. Go to Google and type in “remove duplicates from Outlook” for quick list of available add-ons.
