WEEK 1, SESSION 1:
Goal Setting and Messaging
The best way to learn and grow is to get to know the businesses around you. We’ll spend some time getting to know everyone in the room before we get started on session #1.

Before we dive into the planning, we need establish what you want to accomplish in the year ahead. The instructors will walk you through setting your business goals and share how your marketing will play a key role in reaching them.

To achieve your goals, your message needs to be clear and concise, so it connects with your target audience. We’ll work with you to craft the message you need to achieve your goals and build rapport with your customers.

WEEK 2, SESSION 2:
Customers, Channels & Planning
Who are your customers? Where and how do you reach them? In this session, we’ll outline what you need to know about your customers. We’ll then review each communication channel used for small businesses and how they should be leveraged to find new customers and retain existing ones.

This journey will allow us to lay the groundwork of a plan and build the foundation you need to attract and keep customers.

WEEK 3, SESSION 3:
Breakout and Network Time
This session is designed to give you the time you need to absorb and integrate everything you’ve learned so far in the previous sessions. Think of it as breathing room before you head back to the office and start putting your plan into action. Though you can work independently, we encourage you to collaborate with one of the trainers. (We’re here to help make creating your plan and implementing it a reality!)

WEEK 4, SESSION 4:
Storytelling with Campaign Design
During this session, we will explore how you tell stories and design purposeful campaigns that enable you to meet your business goals. We’ll guide you through the opportunities and pitfalls that often arise during this portion of the planning phase. The instructors will outline the elements that go into storytelling and explain the assets you’ll need to create and/or update to spread your message.

WEEK 5, SESSION 5:
Metrics and Measurement
How do you know your marketing is working? During this session, we’ll discuss the places to find your business metrics and how to review them. We’ll show you how to set a baseline before you start implementing your plan. Then we’ll work together to set your quarterly goals and identify monthly indicators to keep you focused and on track. Additionally, we’ll call out key metrics that may indicate a need to pivot and to adjust your plan during the execution phase.

WEEK 6, SESSION 6:
Sharing and Reviewing Your Work
This session is designed to support what you need before you head back to the office and start putting your plan in to action. Work on your own or tap into the expertise of one of the instructors. Tom DiGrazia

With over a decade and a half of professional design experience, Tom brings his knowledge of design principles and focus on user experience to every aspect of his contribution to TTG. Paying special attention to each client’s brand, personalized needs and individual interests, he strives to create compelling concepts utilizing intuitive and highly-refined design solutions. In addition to traditional and digital design work and oversight at TTG, Tom also boasts a wide portfolio of web development projects with the company, allowing him to stretch his CSS and HTML skills across multiple platforms and disciplines. He feels that being a designer in the digital landscape of websites, eCommerce solutions, email marketing platforms and social media, it is important to understand the code that goes into these areas as it assists his ability to tailor designs specifically targeted to achieve the best end result and further builds understanding and communication with backend development teams.

In his off hours, Tom is an avid pop culture enthusiast, staying up to date on the latest shows, films, comics and games. He can also typically be found taking part in a whole host of artistic activities that help him further stretch his creative legs. Regardless of the activity, Tom is always accompanied by his dog, Eli, and his cat, Tib.

Courtney Dumont

As Senior Marketing Strategist & Analyst at Technology Therapy Group, Courtney is energized by the ability to flex both her left and right brain daily. Courtney discovered her passion for Marketing at Bryant University, where she spearheaded research on students’ perceptions of Social Media Marketing for her Honors Capstone Project. After graduating Bryant in 2012, she joined the Technology Therapy team, where she’s honed her skills in social media, search and social advertising, email marketing, SEO, and more.

Since joining the team, Courtney has created digital marketing strategies and managed campaigns for clients across the country, ranging from plastic surgery centers, to jewelry stores, to construction companies. With a cohesive, cross-channel approach and a focus on data-driven decision making, she has increased their leads by up to 217%. But Courtney doesn’t leave her zeal for social media at the office; she also runs a local foodie Instagram account with her husband to document their meals across Rhode Island and beyond.
